Hollywood exiles Snctm founder after Hunter Biden tell-all

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Damon Lawner, once the mastermind behind a high-profile Los Angeles sex club, now finds himself on the outskirts of the very society he helped shape.

Lawner, the founder of Snctm, revealed Hunter Biden’s inappropriate behavior at a club event, leading to Biden’s expulsion, and now claims he’s been ostracized by Hollywood’s inner circle for speaking out, the New York Post reported.

Lawner’s decision to go public with Biden’s actions, including allegations of unwanted physical contact at a party, has cost him dearly. He says the fallout stripped him of his social standing and left him rebuilding from scratch.

Breaking the Unspoken Code of Silence

Lawner didn’t hold back when describing the incident that led to Biden’s ouster from Snctm, a club he started in 2013. He accused the former first son of violating a fundamental rule by touching women without consent.

“Always ask before you touch,” Lawner emphasized to the press, pointing out how Biden’s behavior crossed a clear boundary. Such disregard for basic respect, he argued, warranted immediate action, regardless of status.

Yet, the real sting came not from the incident itself, but from what followed. Lawner claims that by naming Biden, he rattled a powerful network that thrives on discretion.

Hollywood’s Tribal Retribution Takes Hold

“By outing Hunter, I didn’t just anger one person, I angered a protected ecosystem,” Lawner told the Daily Mail. If he thought candor would be met with understanding, he quickly learned otherwise, as the elite closed ranks.

Hollywood operates on loyalty to its own, Lawner discovered, and crossing that line meant losing everything he’d built. He was banned from Snctm, a club he founded, and found himself socially iced out.

The irony isn’t lost that a man who created a space for boundary-pushing now finds himself punished for stepping over a different kind of limit. Speaking truth to power, it seems, carries a heavier price than hosting risqué soirées.

A Club’s Defense and a Founder’s Fall

Snctm, which Lawner sold in 2019 for $1 million, distanced itself from its founder’s revelations with a firm statement. A spokeswoman underscored their commitment to privacy, refusing to confirm or deny any member’s identity.

“We uphold a strict code of conduct, and any infringement leads to a lifetime ban,” the statement added, clearly aimed at Lawner’s breach of confidentiality. The club’s stance paints him as the rule-breaker, flipping the narrative on its head.

Lawner, now 55, finds himself navigating a starkly different reality after his 2023 social media post about Biden. He’s spent the past year couch-surfing, piecing together what’s left of his shattered connections.

Lessons from an Elite Underworld’s Collapse

Snctm still thrives, charging up to $75,000 annually for top-tier memberships that grant access to exclusive parties and private spaces. Its clientele, ranging from musicians to business tycoons, continues to revel in its carefully guarded secrecy.

Lawner’s story, though, serves as a sharp reminder that even the architects of such worlds aren’t immune to their rules. Exposing a single misstep, especially by someone tied to political royalty, can unravel years of trust in an instant.

What’s clear is that Hollywood’s elite don’t take kindly to airing dirty laundry, no matter how justified the airing might be. For Lawner, the cost of honesty has been steep, leaving him to wonder if silence might have been the wiser path.
