In September 2009, Naylor posted a video introducing three babies, including a girl named Brook, born in the same year she was reportedly pregnant. However, no birth records were found for a "Brook Naylor" or any baby with the last name "Emhoff" in Los Angeles County for 2008 or 2009.
The publicity surrounding the affair led to Naylor leaving her teaching position at The Willows. This upheaval marked a notable shift in her personal and professional life.
