Bush Appointee Killed In Reno Car Accident: Police

On Wednesday afternoon, U.S. District Court Judge Larry Hicks was tragically killed in a car accident outside the federal courthouse in downtown Reno, Nevada. 

Fox News reported that the incident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m., just outside the courthouse in Reno. Hicks, appointed by President George W. Bush, was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Officials from both the Reno Police Department and the Washoe Sheriff's Department confirmed the crash and its resulting fatality.
